Cheryl Willis
Director of Office Administration
Cheryl has spent her entire career in public service, her first five years as a legal secretary with the IRS, Office of Chief Counsel. She then began her service with the City of San Diego at the City Attorney’s Office where she spent 30 years working as a legal secretary, and briefly as the Confidential Executive Assistant to the City Attorney. Cheryl brings her extensive experience to District 7 as Director of Office Administration where she is responsible for scheduling and managing the Councilmember’s calendar, interfacing with constituents, and performing other administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Born in Arizona, Cheryl’s family relocated to La Mesa where she grew up, met her husband, and raised their family. Cheryl enjoys time spent with family and friends, reading and meeting with her book club, taking in the outdoors, hiking, boating and water sports, and she is always ready travel to somewhere new.
