Community Representative

Joaquin Quintero serves as a community representative in the northern communities of Council District 1. Before this position, he interned in the office of Mayor Todd Gloria, served as a union organizer for academic student unions, and worked as a tutor at UC San Diego. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science-data analytics and history pre-law from UCSD. When not at work, he enjoys reading, playing the flute and saxophone, and visiting Balboa Park’s museums.
