Director of Administration

Caroline Garcia is the Director of Administration for District 1 bringing almost three decades of experience in elected and operational offices. She has worked for four mayors, one city manager, and most recently, the Development Services Department. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix. Caroline has a passion for customer service and enjoys serving Team LaCava and our constituents. Caroline is a first-generation San Diegan with an extended family. She enjoys family time with her husband, three children, and two cats. She enjoys visiting San Diego’s parks and beaches, and likes to crochet, knit, and watch animated, comedy, action, and Korean movies and shows.
