Request a Leak Adjustment

You can submit your request for an adjustment on your water bill if the leak at your property was due to:

  • a non-irrigation concealed pipe leak

The following reasons do NOT qualify:

  • Irrigation-related leaks.
  • Leaks from swimming pools.
  • Leaks from plumbing fixtures.

Please be aware that all adjustment requests must be received within 120 days of the first high bill related to the concealed pipe leak(s). Requests received after the 120-day period will not be considered for an adjustment.

Submit a Request for a Leak Adjustment

You will need to provide the following information:

  • Account holder name.
  • Service address.
  • Phone number and email address.
  • Date the leak was discovered.
  • The date repairs were made.
  • Copy of the repair invoice or receipt.

Once you have submitted your request, a team member will review it and notify you within 6 to 8 weeks.

What kinds of leaks qualify for an adjustment on my bill?

If you have experienced a leak at your property that was due to a non-irrigation concealed pipe leak, you can submit your request for an adjustment on your water bill. Please note that in addition to irrigation-related leaks, leaks from swimming pools and plumbing fixtures do not qualify for adjustments for water bills that were sent in a timely manner.

How long does it take for my leak adjustment request to be approved?

Your request will generally be reviewed and processed in 6 to 8 weeks. Once it is processed, you will be notified by letter.
