VII. Self Monitoring and Reporting Requirements

Authorized facility representatives can submit and certify Industrial Self-Monitoring Reports (SMRs) as required by their Industrial Wastewater Control Program (IWCP) permit via the IWCP Online Portal.  As a courtesy, portal notifications and Industrial Self-Monitoring Forms (ISFs) are emailed from noreply@salesforce.com to the Signatory Contacts on file. Authorized permittee contacts receiving email notifications will need to add noreply@salesforce.com to their safe sender list or discuss with your IT security about allowing your inbox to receive emails from noreply@salesforce.com.

Please Note: The IWCP Online Portal is EPA CROMERR compliant and fully operational. Registered portal users can enter data, attach documents (25MB total size) and electronically sign for submission. After a successful submission the confirmation email will be automatically sent by the system, there is no need to mail in any physical documents or email the copy of the submission. For additional assistance, please call IWCP at 858-654-4100 or email IWCP@sandiego.gov.

Refer to Attachment B and Appendix B of your Industrial User Discharge Permit for a monitoring schedule and instructions.

The sample must be analyzed using U.S. EPA-approved methods listed at 40 CFR 136 by a laboratory certified to perform the specific analysis on wastewater. Please visit the state of California's Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program website for certified laboratories. For guidance on the completion of the Self Monitoring Report, please refer to the instructions below:
