The Motive Service Technician performs a variety of servicing duties on vehicles including automobiles, trucks, and construction equipment. Responsibilities include operating fuel trucks, changing fluids and filters, lubricating parts, performing minor repairs, and maintaining service records. Requires one year of full-time motive service work, an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology or Auto Mechanics, or completion of an accredited Automotive Service Training Program.
The Motive Service Trainee participates in a training program to perform increasingly responsible servicing duties on automotive equipment under immediate supervision. Responsibilities include cleaning automotive and construction equipment, servicing fuel trucks, assisting with battery replacement, tire repairs, lubrication, and oil filter changes. No specific education or experience is required, but possession of a valid California Class C Driver's License is necessary.
The Motor Sweeper Operator is responsible for operating and performing minor maintenance on a motor-driven street sweeper. Duties include adjusting sweeper equipment, replacing brooms, lubricating parts, filling water tanks, washing the sweeper, and ensuring the vehicle is serviced with necessary fluids. Operators also report streets swept, hours worked, hazardous conditions observed, and the need for major repairs. The Motor Sweeper Supervisor oversees crews engaged in the sweeping of City streets, alleys, and parking lots using both hand and power equipment. Responsibilities include operating various commercial-type motorized street sweepers, planning and assigning routes, scheduling equipment maintenance, posting notices, and addressing public complaints. The supervisor also selects, trains, and evaluates subordinates, issues parking citations, enforces safety regulations, and recommends improvements. This role requires one year of experience operating motorized street sweeping equipment or relevant experience with industrial equipment, alongside supervisory experience. MultiMedia Production Coordinator
The Multimedia Production Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the creation of multimedia presentations and projects.
