Julia is the newest addition to the Project Heart Beat team, serving as the community outreach and PAD Program Associate as part of the partnership between Falck Ambulance and San Diego Fire-Rescue EMS. Julia has been serving the City of San Diego as a 911 EMT since 2019 and is involved with their course for emergency vehicle operations training, bridge training, and peer support, where she is highly familiar with Critical Incident Stress Management. Julia spends a lot of her free time outdoors and is involved with cleaning the San Diego River. In addition, she has participated in community outreach with Sidewalk CPR trainings and the Girls Empowerment Camp. She has completed her master’s in public health here in San Diego and is proud to serve this community.
