Library Locations
The San Diego Public Library has new hours starting August 29, 2026! Please see here or the individual library location page below as hours vary by location.
On Sept.1, 2026, the following locations will close for building renovations:
- Ocean Beach Library Expansion (anticipated reopening Summer 2028)
Holds will be moved to Point Loma/Hervey Library. - Rancho Peñasquitos Library Improvements (anticipated reopening Fall 2027)
Holds will be moved to Carmel Mountain Ranch Library.
Mission Hills-Hillcrest/Knox Library
Mountain View/Beckwourth Library
* Library locations open Mondays (11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
