Jones Elementary Joint Use Facility

Project Background

This project provides for the design and construction of a new joint use facility at Jones Elementary School which is located at 2751 Greyling Drive within the Serra Mesa Community, within Council District 7.

The General Development Plan (GDP) inclusive of the environmental document, design, and construction of the joint use facility is funded by the San Diego Unified School District through the use of voter-approved Propositions S and Z and Measure YY bond funding.

Scope of Work

This project includes the creation and approval of a General Development Plan (GDP) through community engagement that includes the following:

  • Multi-purpose natural turf field
  • Walking track

The scope will be finalized during the GDP process through community engagement.
