Assistant Planner

The Assistant Planner performs professional planning and environmental impact analysis and research at the sub-journey level, assisting with complex projects and assignments. Duties include participating in the preparation and revision of various plans, conducting research on planning problems and issues, performing development permit reviews, analyzing environmental impacts, and assisting in the administration of zoning and subdivision regulations. This role typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and one year of full-time professional-level planning experience in areas such as historic preservation, environmental review, community planning, transportation planning, or urban design.
