Martin Luther King Jr. Community Park Tennis Learning Center
Project Background
The proposed project involves the approval of a General Development Plan (GDP) Amendment to remove an existing modular building, and design and construct a new modular building, viewing deck, ADA path of travel, and associated infrastructure on the east side of the existing tennis courts at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Park located at 6401 Skyline Drive in the Skyline Paradise Hills Community, within Council District 4. This project is being administered by the Mountain View Sports and Racquet Association and will be constructed using California State Parks Local Assistance Specified grant funding.
Scope of Work
This project proposes to amend the existing Martin Luther King Jr. Community Park General Development Plan to include the following improvements:
- A new tennis learning center modular building with a pro shop, lounge, kitchen, offices, classrooms, and restrooms
- Elevated viewing deck, ramp, and stairs
- ADA path of travel

- Upcoming public input workshops will be held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Recreation Group (CRG) meetings.
