Community Parks II Area Committee

The Community Parks II Area Committee is comprised of individuals from representative Community Recreation Groups that serve the Community Parks II area which includes the following communities: Barrio Logan, City Heights, Emerald Hills, Encanto, Golden Hills, Kensington, Logan Heights, Mountain View, Mount Hope, North Park, Ocean View Hills, Otay Mesa, Paradise Hills, Skyline Hills, Southcrest, Stockton, San Ysidro, University Heights and Valencia Park.

The Department is restructuring the Community Parks I Area and Community Parks II Area Committees at this time. In the interim, the Department is hosting one virtual Joint Area Committee each month that will allow Community Recreation Group members to receive information directly from Department leadership on topics of shared concern, such as budget development, recreation center funds, recreation equity, fees and charges, process improvements, and similar topics. 

The virtual Joint Area Committee Meetings meets the 1st Wednesday of the month beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Zoom.
