Greenskeeper Supervisor
The Greenskeeper Supervisor oversees the care and maintenance of golf course areas, including fairways, greens, aprons, tees, lawns, and flower beds. Duties involve supervising planting, mowing, trimming, irrigation, pruning, scheduling work, instructing on safety procedures, estimating labor and materials, requisitioning tools, and preparing for tournaments. Requires one year of greenskeeping experience at a golf course and two years of paid grounds maintenance experience. A valid California Class C Driver’s License and a California Qualified Applicator Certificate in Landscape Maintenance within six months of hire are required. An A.S. degree or certificate in related fields may substitute for one year of experience.
