Community Representative

Emily Lynch joins Councilmember Joe LaCava following her position working with several national nonprofits. Prior to her career in nonprofit management, Emily earned a Bachelor's in Political Science with minor in Spanish from San Diego State University.

Emily also has experience working on local and national political campaigns, where she gained invaluable experience, and looks forward to translating her skills over to serve District One. She is passionate about environmental justice, women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and animal welfare. She spends her free time volunteering for a local dog rescue and hiking along the San Diego coast.
