B & C Sheet Maps

What is B & C Sheet Map?

In a continuing effort to provide increased accessibility to records, the City Clerk's office and the departments of City Planning and Development Services have worked together to publish adopted rezoning maps and exhibits on our website.

“B” and “C” sheets are a common reference for the City Planning and Development Services departments to maps that illustrate proposed and adopted rezoning locations and boundaries. From the 1930s into the 1950s, C-sheets were also used to identify architectural control districts; to show changes to public streets; to display park development plans; and to display data and drawings.

Zoning changes are heard by the Planning Commission and 'introduced' and 'approved' by the City Council.

All properties within the City of San Diego have zoning designations reflecting the current designations in the Land Development Code. For more information on Zoning, please visit https://www.sandiego.gov/development-services/zoning
