Local Authors Sought by San Diego Public Library
for 38th Annual Local Authors Event

SAN DIEGO - The City of San Diego Public Library is searching for local authors who published a book in 2003 to participate in the 38th annual Local Authors Exhibit. This is a great opportunity for San Diego's literary talents to be recognized. Each year, hundreds of San Diego authors participate in the event.

If you are a local author or know of one, please call the San Diego Public Library at 619-236-5847 for information on how to participate. The deadline for submission is Dec. 1, 2003.

The Local Authors Exhibit will be on display throughout February 2004. There will be a special preview reception for the authors on Jan. 31, 2004. The publications will be displayed in the lobby of the Central Library located downtown at 820 E St., San Diego, CA, 92101.
