With DiscoverU, the San Diego Public Library encourages youth (grades 3-12) and emerging adults (ages 18-25) to explore their interests and achieve their highest potential. Workshops cover STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) concepts, college readiness, career preparation and life skills.

Working with partners and other community organizations, DiscoverU offers a mix of in-person and virtual programming, including college information sessions, engineering activities, camps for entrepreneurs-in-training, SAT and ACT test preparation and more.

This 2-day course will equip you with the tools to create a standout resume that highlights your strengths and sets you apart in the job market. Learn strategies for effective formatting, compelling content, and personal branding. By the end, you will have a polished resume that effectively communicates your professional value. In this course, learn the tools and strategies to best navigate the interview process and get the job you want.
