Paradise Hills Community Park Trail
Project Background
The project provides for the environmental analysis, design, and construction of a primitive trail through open space area in the Paradise Hills Community Park which is located at 6610 Potomac Street within the Paradise Hills – Skyline Community, within Council District 4.
This project is consistent with the approved General Development Plan for Paradise Hills Community Park. Public engagement will be comprised of regular updates on the progress of the project to the local Community Recreation Group.
Scope of Work
The proposed upland trail will connect from the new Paradise Hills Native Plant Garden to the public right of way at Inyo Street. Preliminary alignment of the trail has been identified and will likely include the following:
• Four-foot-wide primitive trail approximately half mile in length
• Small footbridge
• Trailhead signage
The final trail alignment and design will be determined based on biological and cultural survey findings to avoid or minimize impacts.
This project will be managed by Parks and Recreation Asset Management staff.
