Amy Li joined the Office of the Independent Budget Analyst (IBA) in October 2022 as a Fiscal & Policy Analyst. Prior to the IBA, Amy worked as a Senior Fiscal & Policy Analyst for four years at the California Legislative Analyst’s Office, where she analyzed various K-12 education issues to help inform the budgetary decisions of the California State Legislature. She has also worked in health care policy and was a Senate Fellow for the California State Legislature. 

Amy has a Master of Public Affairs from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Politics from Pomona College.
