Jillian Andolina joined the Office of the Independent Budget Analyst (IBA) in February 2017 as a Fiscal & Policy Analyst.  Before joining the IBA, Jillian worked for two years at the California State Senate as a consultant in the Committee on Appropriations.  There she analyzed, and advised the Chair of the committee on, all legislation with a fiscal impact related to education from preschool to college.  In addition, she spent three years at the California Department of Finance as a Finance Budget Analyst where she, among other things, prepared the Governor’s proposed Budget in various areas within education and testified before the California Legislature on related budget issues.

Jillian has a Master of Public Policy degree with a specialization in International Relations and Economics and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, both from Pepperdine University.
