Shahrzad Kamyab, PhD
Dr. Kamyab is an internationally recognized scholar who has published articles, book chapters and a recent book entitled "Unintended Consequences of Internationalization in Higher Education: Comparative International Perspectives on the Impacts of Policy and Practice," Routledge Publishing.
She's also the president of the San Diego-Tijuana Sister City Society, a body within the San Diego International Sister City Association whose mission is to build a greater relationship between the U.S. and Mexico through trans-border initiatives.
Dr. Kamyab holds a Ph.D. in higher education administration and has been a faculty member of international comparative education and teacher education at Chapman University, a university liaison, and a faculty member of the TESOL master program at the University of San Diego. She's also been a visiting scholar and faculty member in Latin America, the Middle East and North Africa.
