The International Affairs Board (IAB) serves as an advisory board to the City of San Diego. All board members are volunteers, appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. The IAB advises Mayor Todd Gloria and the City Council on the impact of international issues and policies on San Diego.

The IAB's mission is to enhance San Diego's global presence, encourage cultural connections, foster international economic competitiveness, and elevate San Diego's stature on the global stage.

The IAB holds open meetings monthly and welcomes globally minded San Diegans to attend. These meetings are an opportunity to learn more about the breadth of international work in the San Diego region and share important updates and information with the IAB.

The IAB meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Please note that meeting locations can vary and are subject to change. Attendees are advised to consult the meeting agenda in advance to confirm the meeting location.
