This exhibit featured rare and fine dictionaries and encyclopedias including Samuel Johnson's A Dictionary of the English Language (1755), Noah Webster's 1st edition of An American Dictionary of the English Language (1828) and the 11th edition of The Encyclopaedia Britannica (1910-1911).

To support the Wangenheim Room, best-selling author and linguist Dr. Richard Lederer visited on September 30, 2007 to celebrate the opening of a new exhibit entitled, A World of Words: Samuel Johnson, Noah Webster and works that shaped the English language.
