Project Overview

This project will provide design services for the General Development Plan (GDP) amendment documents of Sefton Field. The final scope of work will be determined and finalized during the GDP amendment process through community engagement, which includes determining program preference, evaluating proposed design alternatives and developing a preferred design option to provide additional park amenities.

Scope of Work

This project includes workshops and presentations for public input on the park's amenities and approval through the GDP amendment process. The eight-acre park currently have five baseball fields that are being used and maintained by Presidio Little League.

GDP improvements may include:

• Batting cages.
• Dugouts.
• Sports field lighting.
• Scoreboards.
• Concession stand.
• Hard courts (basketball/pickleball).
• Walkways through and around the park.
• Pathway connection to the future West Valley River crossing.
• Parking lot and lighting.
• Bike racks.
• Upgraded utilities (electricity, water and sewer).
• Drinking fountains.
• Comfort station.
• Site furnishings.
• Picnic facilities.
• Fencing.
• Dog run.
• Signage upgrades.
• Shade elements.
• Children's play area.
• Fitness equipment.
• Trash enclosure.
• Storage equipment.
• Upgraded landscaping.
• Improved irrigation and drainage.
• Accessibility improvements.
• Security cameras.

These requests shall be evaluated and, if appropriate, approved via the GDP Amendment process.

Project Schedule

• Anticipated GDP completion: Fall 2025.
