The Office of Global Affairs works to connect San Diego to the world and advance the City's priorities around the globe. The Office of Global Affairs embodies Binational Affairs, International Affairs, and International Diplomacy, and promotes San Diego's international image as a world-class city and destination. The team works with numerous regional, binational, and international partners to advocate for the needs and goals of our City, and to respond to issues impacting San Diegans.

The International Affairs Board is an advisory board to the Mayor and City Council on international affairs and city diplomacy. The Director of the Office of Global Affairs serves as the Board's Executive Director.
