PLAN TEAM

PLAN LEADERSHIP

Creative City is strategically designed to align with the City of San Diego’s Strategic Plan, ensuring that arts, culture, and creativity are pivotal in driving solutions and achieving the City’s ambitious plan goals. The City’s Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) is the primary steward of Creative City, demonstrating strong leadership, but the plan also highlights numerous cross-departmental priorities. Moreover, DCA is committed to forging impactful partnerships with other departments and agencies to amplify our collective efforts.

Through DCA, the City led the cultural planning initiative for Creative City in partnership with a cultural planning team tasked with guiding a strategic process that addresses our unique strengths, needs and priorities. Meet the team below.
