Balboa Park
Balboa Park is one of the nation's premiere urban parks and the crown jewel of San Diego. The park covers 1,200 acres and includes recreational and passive park space, gardens, trails, museums, performing arts and international culture organizations, along with the world famous San Diego Zoo. Balboa Park is famous for hosting International Expositions in 1915 and 1935 and for its amazing Spanish Colonial Revival architecture.
