2023 ICF (International Christmas Festival)/December Nights
The 2023 International Christmas Festival in Balboa Park is a two-day event (Friday, 12/1/23 & Saturday 12/2/23) sponsored by the House of Pacific Relations International Cottages, a group of 31 nations/cultural groups, that bring ethnic foods, beverages, and our famous "Spirit Garden" to San Diego. There will also be over 14 hours of traditional songs and dance performances in dazzling costumes. Come and awaken your senses with delectable flavors and inspiring sounds from performances on the HPR International Lawn Stage.

Little Italy Tree Lighting & Christmas Village
The Little Italy Association is proud to invite you to the 24th Annual Little Italy Tree Lighting and Christmas Village.
Come and experience Little Italy transform into a winter wonderland with Christmas twinkle lights down all the streets, our beautiful urban neighborhood will be adorned with 10-foot tall nutcrackers and kinetic tree holiday displays on street corners, Christmas music and more. Family, friends, and neighbors are invited to come together to experience true holiday joy at this family-friendly event and enjoy the neighborhoods festive decorincluding two Christmas trees, Joshua Huberts Aurora tree at Piazza Basilone and the permanent 25-foot tree at Piazza della Famiglia, seasonal vendors, live music and entertainment, holiday treats, a traditional Italian tree lighting ceremony, and a special message from Santa that you don't want to miss!
You can also enjoy our Christmas Village, located on India Street between W. Date and W. Fir Streets, where youll find one-of-a-kind stocking stuffers and other holiday goodies from seasonal vendors and select Little Italy Mercato vendors.
The festivities start at 4:00pm, with the Tree Lighting Ceremony taking place in the Piazza della Famiglia at 6:30pm.

8th Annual Unleash the Holiday Cheer
San Diego's most charitable, pet-friendly Pet and military Appreciation event of the year (and voted as one of San Diego's Favorite Events 2020), "Unleash the Holiday Cheer," presented by the McBeth Foundation!
This year, we partnered with San Diego Humane Society, who will bring adoptable pets to our event for all to foster or adopt! As always, Traci's Paws will sponsor pet adoption fees for military and veterans and their families if they are approved for an adoption!

Since the event's inception in 2016, we have raised over $550,000 for the military, veterans, and their families with gifts and sponsored adoption fees for homeless pets at various rescue organizations!
Like all Traci's Paws events, we will practice all safety precautions as the CDC and San Diego County requested. Please respect our COVID-Safe Rules.
Masks are not required for fully vaccinated individuals outdoors but are highly recommended. Please respect our guests and volunteers and plan on not attending if you are sick or have been sick within 14 days of the event date, you experience symptoms such as a fever of 100.4F/38C, cough, sore throat, or loss of taste/smell or have come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID19. If you are not fully vaccinated, please wear your mask, wash your hands or use hand sanitizer, and maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet from other patrons.

We are organizing a FREE multi-cultural holiday event which aims to create a unique and memorable

San Diego Brew Fest (January 2024)
The 9th annual San Diego Beer Fest returns to Liberty Station, promising another fun filled day with beer, food trucks, and music. The event will feature dozens of local local and international craft beers, as well as San Diegos most popular food trucks (food sold separately).
Admission is $50 for general admission (1pm to 4pm) and $65 for VIP (noon to 4pm). Both include unlimited beer tastings, with VIP admission offering an added hour.

Barks and Brews 2024

From the latest lagers coming from beloved local brewers to hard kombucha and craft cocktails, there will be no shortage of alcoholic beverages to help put you in the dancing mood. If alcohol isnt your thing, fear not! We will have plenty of non-alcoholic beverages on tap and a free water station as well.
What should I bring?
Early June in San Diego will likely mean sunny skies and warm temps, so be sure to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and your most festive clothing (stop by one of North Parks awesome vintage stores for inspo)! In an effort to reduce waste, we will also have one reusable cup for each ticket holder, so hang onto yours once you get it and be sure to bring it back with you on Sunday.
What should I leave at home?
Outside food and drinks are not allowed, and you cannot bring your reusable water bottle (as mentioned, we will have a reusable cup for you once you arrive). Please do not bring any weapons, fireworks, or bad vibes to the festival.
Can I bring my kids?
Please do! North Park Music Fest is a family-friendly event, and if your kiddos are under 12, they get in for free.

Trick - Or - Treat on India Street
We are welcoming back our favorite Halloween tradition, Trick-or-Treat on India Street! On Sunday, October 27th from 3:30pm to 7:30pm. Little ghouls and goblins of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their best costumes and enjoy an evening of authentic trick-or-treating with their families. Little witches and monsters will be able to stop door-to-door and get delicious Halloween treats and candy from participating Little Italy businesses along the historic India Street.
Maps of participating businesses will be available as the trick-or-treat fun happens at the Piazza della Famiglia on India and W. Date Street. You wont want to miss out on this years fun!
We have asked our participating businesses to have staff that is passing out candy to wear a face covering and gloves as an additional safety precaution.

Celebrating its 14th year the 2024 annual Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead celebration returns for a weekend of free music, food, and culture on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 10:30 am-9 pm and Sunday, Nov. 3rd, from 10:30 am -7 pm. This family friendly Cultural event will transform the historic downtown neighborhood of the Gaslamp into a bustling mercado with artisan makers, vibrant decor, dozens of dining options. Live music, local bands, street performances, Facepainting, rows of colorful Day of the Dead merchandise, fine art, traditional ofrendas or altars and hands on crafts kids area fill this amazing setting.
