My name is Susanne Babb and I’m a born and raised San Diego native. I currently work in Fire-Rescue, Fiscal as a senior account clerk running the False Alarms Program. On my off days, I enjoy baking, reading, movies, going to the archery range, & discovering new restaurants…especially for breakfast. I currently live in Spring Valley with my husband, Scott and my beagle, Eponine.

Since I’ve been with Fire-Rescue, I can’t help but notice how supportive the department is…even to us admin staff…both professionally and on a personal level. I’ve had my days of feeling stressed or blue and my co-workers have been there for me so I hope I can pay it forward by be that person for others. Being a natural introvert, I can understand how hard it is to open up to people when things are rough or stressful. Sometimes it’s easier to have one-on-one conversations with someone who is not necessarily a close friend or relative; someone who you can just listen and bounce your thoughts and feelings off of without judgement.
