What does the Real Estate team do?
Now is a great time to join the City of San Diego's Department of Real Estate and Airport Management. We oversee a diverse portfolio of owned and leased property, developed and undeveloped, from Mission Bay to San Pasqual Valley and all points in between, including: two municipal airports, Balboa Park and PETCO Park to name a few. With the Real Estate and Airport Management team, you will find a wide range of opportunities to learn about the full real estate cycle.
We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Associate Property Agents and Property Agents: Associate Property Agents and Property Agents perform various real estate transactions within the Department's diverse portfolio. You will have the opportunity to work in one or more of the following major functional areas: Acquisitions, Dispositions and Lease Administration (Real Estate). This is an MEA represented position.
Supervising Property Agent: Supervising Property Agents perform complex real estate transactions within the Department's diverse portfolio. Supervising Property Agent positions are currently available on the Lease Administration team (Real Estate). This position serves in a supervisory role and may supervise one or more Property Agents and/or Associate Property Agents. This is an MEA represented position.
Program Manager, Lease Administration: The Program Manager, Lease Administration position is a management level position. Under the direction from the Deputy Director of Real Estate, the Program Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 13 staff and overseeing a real estate portfolio with over 520 agreements with varying levels of complexity. This is an unclassified position.
