SYNOPSIS:
On March 22, 2004, Deon Patterson, a 17 year old male, was standing on the porch of his apartment located at 4610 Nogal Street in San Diego, California. An unknown assailant fired several gunshots at Patterson, killing him.
A witness reported seeing a Hispanic male driving a Ford F-150 or larger type pickup truck driving on Nogal Street when the gunshots were fired. The vehicle stopped in the cul-de-sac and a black male coming from the direction of Patterson's apartment entered the vehicle. Both the Hispanic and black male fled in the vehicle eastbound on Nogal Street.
