Cast Your Nomination for the Parks and Recreation Heart of Service Award!

Help us celebrate the outstanding contributions of our dedicated Parks and Recreation Department employees by nominating them to the Heart of Service award. This special recognition is awarded to individuals who have made a meaningful impact in our community, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional service.

Standard Criteria: In keeping with goals of consistency and fairness, the employee to be eligible for the award must have been with the department for a minimum of (3) months, received no discipline in the last (12) months, and is meeting performance standards at the time of the award.

Selection: The Parks and Recreation Rewards and Recreation Committee will review the nominations regularly and select a winner for each bargaining unit. At a minimum, there will be two award winners per rolling calendar year for each bargaining unit.

Award: The recipient of the Heart of Service Award will be recognized with a certificate of recognition, annual leave, and department swag or a gift card (gift card can be $25.00, $50.00, $75.00 or $100).
