Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance
Tai Chi has been shown to improve balance and mobility, and reduce the risk of falls. People of all ability levels are welcome. This class can be conducted from a seated or standing position.

College-Level Math Tutoring
Bring your assignments and let a tutor explain complex math topics in a simple way. Meet with other students to form healthy study habits. Calculus, Pre-Calculus and Algebra tutoring available.

History of the Center
The Tecolote Recreation Center was built in 1968 on land that was one of the county's most popular motorcycle racing areas in the 1920s and 1930s. In the 1950s, the land was used as a dairy farm. The dairy owner deeded his 7.8 acres to the City to be used primarily for youth baseball activities.
Directions and Bus Route
From Interstate 5, take the Sea World Drive/Tecolote Road exit and travel east. Pass Morena Boulevard and the center is on the right.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Route 105.

The center is closed on City Holidays.
Facilities
Facilities include five baseball fields, two outdoor basketball courts, picnic areas, a playground, and a game room featuring pool tables, ping pong, air hockey and foosball. See a map of Clairemont area facilities.
Greater North Clairemont Parks and Recreation Advisory Group
The Greater North Clairemont Parks and Recreation Advisory Group is looking for new members. Membership is free and open to the public. The Recreation Advisory Group serves as an advisory group to the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Department and facilities include North Clairemont, South Clairemont, Cadman and Tecolote Recreation Centers as well as other Clairemont area parks. Meetings are held monthly on the third Wednesday at 6:30 PM at the North Clairemont Recreation Center.
