Youth Basketball
Fun developmental youth basketball leagues with games played against teams from neighboring City of San Diego Recreation Centers. Players will learn the fundamentals of basketball, learn to work as a team, and develop great sportsmanship. Transportation is not provided to game locations.

Game Center
Kids of all ages are welcome to play pool, video games (both new and retro), air hockey, mini-basketball, or just hang out in a safe and fun environment any time school is over. This is a free program for all school age children. For more information, please call the recreation center.
Zumba for Seniors
Join our well-designed and fun Zumba class for Seniors every Thursdays from 9:30am-10:30am.

History of the Center
The center was dedicated in July 1978 and is located inside the Martin Luther King Elementary School grounds near the playground.
Directions and Bus Route
From Interstate 15, take the Market Street exit and turn left. Make a left to 32nd Street. The recreation center is inside of the playground at the first stop sign.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS route 4 and 5, and the San Diego Trolley's Orange Line.
