The North Clairemont Recreation Center offers tennis lessons year-round. Youth sports are offered seasonally: basketball in winter/summer, soccer in spring, and flag football in fall.

Field and Park Permits

Field and Park Permits are available by appointment only. Call 858-581-9926 to schedule an appointment.


History of the Center

The park land was acquired in 1954, and the recreation center was built in 1960. An official dedication ceremony took place in 1974.


Directions and Bus Route

Map this location

From Interstate 805, take the Clairemont Mesa Boulevard West exit to Genesee Avenue. Turn left on Genesee and then right on Bannock Avenue. The center will be on the left.

From Interstate 5, take State Route 52 east to the Genesee Avenue exit, and turn left (south) onto Genesee. Turn right on Bannock Avenue. The center will be on the left.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 41, 44 and 50.
