Come Join us for an afterschool Arts and Crafts class and create different projects that you can take home.

Come Join us for a cooking class. We'll be making a different dessert every week, which you can eat once you've completed it or on your way back home.

Teen Center

Come Join us with a new hangout spot for teens to interact, play games or use us as a place to study.

Winter Camp

Looking for a place to take care of your kids for the next two weeks of school break before entering the new year? Bring them to Mountain View Community Center, where we can take care of them Monday, Thursday and Friday for both weeks from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., doing fun crafts, learning how to cook sweets, and staying active to make space for the food they will be eating during the holidays.

Mountain View Community Center Winter Wonderland

Come Join us for a fun day here at Mountain View Community Center on Dec. 21, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Three Hours full of fun activities: slide down the snow with sleds, play fun activities, create crafts, and if that’s not enough, have Cookies with Santa!!

History of the Center

Mountain View was dedicated in 1914, making it one of the first parks dedicated in San Diego. People still talk about the great car shows that took place in the park in the 1960s.

Map this location

From Interstate 805, take the Imperial Avenue exit and travel west. Turn left onto 40th Street, then left onto T Street. The facility is at South Boundary Street.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 3, 4, 11 and 955.
