SAN DIEGO – Tomorrow, Mayor Todd Gloria will host his fourth annual Back-to-School Celebration in an effort to support students and families as they prepare to return to the classroom.
Students will receive free supplies to set them up for success in the upcoming school year, including backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils and markers. There also will be meet-and-greets, giveaways and interactive games with the San Diego Seals lacrosse team, San Diego Padres baseball team, San Diego Futbol Club (FC) soccer team, San Diego Wave FC soccer team, the City of San Diego’s Parks and Recreation Department and more.
Mayor Gloria will be joined by San Diego Unified School District board members, nonprofit partners, community leaders and sponsors.
