Notes

After 20+ years in Fire/EMS I had seen enough loss. 2013 was just about the final straw for me starting with a 14 year old girl who hung her self on New Years Day. The rest of the year continued down the same path which I was not handling well. In October of 2014 I began to see a psychologist in hopes of feeling better. Not 2 months later while I was trying to wrap my head around how I was feeling, my wife of 20 years left me. This was the person who I needed to turn to and now I was feeling abandoned and much worse then ever. I felt hopeless. A good friend of mine sponsored me into a program for Veterans and First Responders suffering from PTSD called Save A Warrior. I went through a one week program with 12 other dudes feeling very Much the same as me. I feel SAW saved my life! I continue to see a psychologist and do what I can to be a better person to those around me. Not every day is easy but it's a life long process. I would like to be there to help someone who's in need much like I was. I've learned several tools and I'm truly here to help!

I'd like to be the positive help in someone's life.
