Born and raised in Detroit Michigan and moved to San Diego in the early 80’s to train for triathlons. Got a recruitment letter in my race bag for firefighter and was all in. After 2 non-paid academies I finally got hired in 1986. I spent 31 of the best years of my life working for SDFD. I recently retired as a Captain/ medic. and live in Clairemont. I have been married nearly 30 years to retired Captain Mike Johnson and have 4 great kids. My interests are running, ocean swimming, hiking, yoga and torturing my family.

I am interested in helping anyone with anything if they think I can help. I am a good hiking and listening companion. I also have a good understanding of the pressures of the fire service and balancing your life. I welcome your call.
