Program Coordinator

Eswara Kosaraju is a Program Coordinator (Project Manager) in the Performance & Analytics Department. With more than 22 years of IT project management, software process improvement, and development experience, he has worked for various companies like IBM and CSC as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Quality Manager, and Developer.

Prior to joining the City of San Diego, he worked as a Program Manager for 11 years overseeing the implementation of cloud-based research administration software at universities and research institutions. He also worked on different local government initiatives, including one to set up a project management office to enhance project delivery efficiency. Eswara is passionate about process improvement and analytics. He aspires to assist the City with data-focused solutions and run projects in an open and efficient manner.

Eswara has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA. He is a certified Program Management Professional (PgMP) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). In his free time, he enjoys playing chess.
