What if I trained with another CERT team and completed their academy?

We welcome all previously trained CERT members, but require the following: Proof of graduation (either a letter of recommendation from program coordinator or a copy of your graduation certificate), a copy of your current DSW card, information stating that your status with that program has been active and in good standing for 12 months prior to your application to join CERT San Diego, a completed Volunteer Application for CERT San Diego, and participation in a CERT San Diego Final Drill.

But what happens if there's a call-out and I haven't had a chance to do the Final Drill and I still have an active card issued by my old CERT team?

It means you will not be able to deploy as an active CERT San Diego member. In order to deploy, you will need to have an active DSW card issued to you by the CERT San Diego team.
