The San Diego Student Shakespeare Festival will take place in Balboa Park. More than 500 participants (students, teachers, musicians, etc.) will assemble for a celebratory procession from Spreckles Organ Pavilion to their assigned stages/locations. An audience of several thousand will see performances by students in costume presenting soliloquies, sonnets, and dramatic scenes from Shakespeare's plays. Musicians and dancers will present period pieces.
