In celebration of its 31th anniversary and for the second straight year, the San Diego Festival of the Arts (formerly the La Jolla Festival of the Arts) will return to the County Administration Building Waterfront Park across from the Star of India on June 10 11, 2017. Boasting interactive fountains, intimate gardens, and views of the San Diego Harbor, the Waterfront Park is the quintessential destination for residents and visitors alike. The San Diego Festival of the Arts will host nearly 200 award-winning local and national artists at a two-day festival. There will be two stages featuring local and popular performing artists. The festival will also include popular local cuisines, craft beer and fine wine representing some of San Diego's best restaurants and breweries. Visitors can purchase one day or weekend tickets for $12 or $16 per person or for less in groups of 10 or more online at sdartfest.org. Children 16 and under and military with ID are admitted free. With the new location conveniently located for easy access, attendance is expected to be over 7,000. The festival has raised nearly $2 million over 30 years in support of adaptive sports and art programs. Over 40,000 people with disabilities have benefited from the various programs.
