Movie Collection (1956-1966)
This movie collection consists of approximately three hours of movie recordings that took place in the City of San Diego. The original film was 8mm that was converted to an MP4 format for the preservation of the film, 8mm film offers 16 frames per second.

From offices in the county building, property taxes are collected and spent wisely on expanding city services. New roads and new subdivisions are planned and inspected. The police and fire departments protect citizens from danger. The parks department promotes recreation and the health department give kids injections while the Navy watches us from beneath the waves.

The 1967-1968 was the City of San Diego’s reorganization period in the City Manager’s office. Newly added services to the charter City, twenty-seven-million-dollar stadium and a newly developed Citizens Assistance Office and Community Development, identifying goals and objectives throughout the City.
