Entrance to California Building

View of the entrance to the California Building, The Museum of Man, constructed for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition. It was designed by noted architect Bertram Goodhue. Facing the building, visitors can see the facade's sculpted figures and busts created by the Piccirilli Brothers - Junipero Serra, Charles V of Spain, Philip III of Spain, Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, Don Sebastian Vizcaino, Gaspar de Portola, George Vancouver, Fray Antonio de la Ascension, Father Luis Jayme. Coat of Arms of Mexico and California are included.
