Hotspot Name: Cox WiFi
Bikes and Scooters
There are new bicycle lanes along Park Boulevard and 6th Ave. that can make scooter and bike rides a great option for attending the event. If you live farther away, consider riding your bike to your nearest MTS transit center where you can connect to the City College transit hub; from there you can ride to the event, and even safely store your bike at the free bike valets!
Free Bike Valet
Through the generosity of San Diego Community Power, there are two free bike and scooter valets available during December Nights, located at the corner of Park Blvd. and Village Place, and at the west entrance to the Cabrillo Bridge. The free bike valet hours are:
- Friday December 6th, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- Saturday December 7th, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
NOTE: Bicycles and scooters are not allowed inside the event itself. You will be required to park them outside of the event.
Bike and Ride with MTS
Bicycles are allowed on MTS trolleys, and MTS buses are equipped with bike racks. The City College transit hub is 1.5 miles from the December Nights free bike valets, with a short ride north on Park Blvd.

Scooters
Rental scooters will be geo-fenced out of the December Nights event; you’ll need to find a scooter corral once you arrive at Balboa Park. If riding your personal scooter, you can use the free bike valet service listed above.
