City Planning was awarded funding under a State Coastal Conservancy grant to support Tribal engagement and consultation for the Coastal Resilience Master Plan. The funding will support engagement and coordination with Tribes to better incorporate Tribal perspective, Indigenous and Traditional Knowledge, address Tribal concerns, and acknowledge Tribal history.

Heritage Preservation staff researched funding opportunities for the development of a Historic and Cultural Resources Management Plan that would aim to reduce stress and minimize exposure of historic, archaeological and Tribal cultural resources to climate change impacts. The Heritage Preservation staff maintains a list of potential grant funding sources.
