Mt. Hope
Mount Hope is a mixture of residential, industrial, commercial, and cemetery uses. The residential neighborhood is stable, predominantly single-family homes with a scattering of higher densities north of Broadway. Chollas Creek runs through the northwest corner of Mount Hope through a concrete-lined channel.
The five-acre Dennis V. Allen Park is a neighborhood park that has recently been reconfigured in order to compliment the adjoining industrial developments to the north and south in the Gateway Center East Business Park. The park includes a playground, basketball courts, a restroom, picnic areas, and walking paths. In June 2012, Councilmember Emerald joined Council President Young at the ribbon cutting of the Dennis V. Allen Park?s new "tot lot."
