Wyatt Earp boots - brown leather Wrangler Cowboy Boots, Size 10 D, Style #5115, 13 inches tall. Wyatt came to San Diego between 1885 and 1887 and remained until about 1896. Capitalizing on the land boom in the mid 1880's, he leased four saloons and gambling halls in San Diego's Stingaree district, now known as the Gaslamp Quarter, home of The Wyatt Earp Museum and Bookstore. These were presented to Mayor Golding by the Gaslamp Quarter Foundation in March 1994; occasion information was not provided to the City Clerk's office.
