Shaniwar Wada Decoration, with a replica of the palace fort in the city of Pune in Maharashtra, India commemorating MAPES, the Mayors' Asia-Pacific Environmental Summit on actions to address concerns for the region's poor. 400 delegates from 28 countries and 118 cities, including over 100 Governors and Mayors, attended the Summit which was organized by the City and County of Honolulu, USA, and the MAPES 2001 Collaborating Partners.
